Who can get iOS 27.1?

Apple’s security releases list dates iOS 27.1 to October 23, 2026 and identifies iPhone Duo as the eligible device. On the same list, iOS 27.0.1 is the listed release for the other supported iPhone models. Those version numbers describe different device branches at this point in time; a higher number on one model does not mean another model is behind on its own offered update.

Apple’s developer announcement also ties the iOS 27.1 release to iPhone Duo and its foldable display. This is a device availability story, not evidence that the update adds a particular fix to every iPhone. Apple has not published CVE entries for iOS 27.1 on the security releases page as of this review; that absence is not proof that the release has no security work.

What should you check on your iPhone?
